You can be treated at the Northey Suite whether you have private health insurance or whether you are paying your costs directly yourself.

Our position in a large NHS hospital help us keep our costs down. We pass these savings on to you; as such, our prices are highly competitive against local private hospitals.

Insurance

We have arrangements to settle the accounts of our patients directly with major insurance companies, including Bupa, AXA PPP, Aviva, The Exeter and WPA. We advise that you check with your insurer that you have adequate cover prior to your stay. Some policies have restricted cover, so we recommend that you read your policy carefully or speak with your insurance provider.

Self-funding

For patients who prefer to fund themselves on an individual basis, we can offer tailored packages to suit your personal needs. Please contact our admissions team on 01372 735000 for an estimate for your treatment.  Prior to your stay, deposits may need to be taken. For patients staying with us for an extended period of time, interim invoices may be issued. We accept all forms or major debit and credit cards, except American Express. 

Amenity beds

Subject to availability and clinical suitability, NHS patients may pay for an amenity bed on the Northey Suite. This is where a patient is accommodated in a private room but receives all clinical care as an NHS patient. We regret that amenity beds cannot be booked in advance, but please contact the Northey Suite reception on 01372 735000 upon admission to hospital to arrange a transfer to a private room if desired. A deposit may be taken and your account must be settled before discharge.
